The Spring Fine Art and Jewelry Auction featured a well-curated selection of over 200 lots of fine art and jewelry. A remarkable Van Cleef & Arpels “Fuchsia” Pendant/Brooch and Necklace was the top lot of the day, selling for $537,500, while other pieces by makers including Cartier, J.E. Caldwell, and Tiffany and Company also exceeded their pre-sale estimates. Notable 19th and 20th century American artists led the fine art portion of the sale, with an exceptional painting by Marsden Hartley achieving $343, 750, and works by artists James Fitzgerald, Marguerite Zorach, James Jebusa Shannon, Edward Mithcell Bannister, and John Ferguson Weir achieving top prices.
