Single Owner Collections

The fine art collection of the late Boston gallerist Portia Harcus featured over 100 lots of 20th century prints and paintings by renowned American artists. We honored Portia’s legacy by producing a stand-alone print catalogue, hosting an evening reception for the collection, and publishing sale-centric press releases.

This white-glove auction celebrated the life-long passion for collecting Chinese Export Porcelain shared by two Boston brothers. The summer event was attended by collectors and scholars from around the world, with special features including print collateral and targeted advertising. The efforts lead to a 100% sell-through rate and the strongest prices the porcelain market had seen in 20 years.

Honoring forty years of rug scholarship and collecting, the sale of The Kaffel Collection was the culmination of a month-long, internationally attended celebration of this once-in-a-generation rug collection.The special features included a panel lecture with leading rug experts, a commemorative print catalogue, and an evening reception.
