The Saundra B. Lane Jewelry Collection
Spirited bidding from around the world drove A Celebration of Color: The Saundra B. Lane Jewelry Collection to a $3 million total in Spring 2025. All 97 lots sold, with over half exceeding their pre-sale estimates. Proceeds established the Saundra B. Lane Fund for Jewelry at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, ensuring the Lanes’ legacy endures. To honor this once-in-a-generation collection, we hosted a lecture with MFA curators, held an evening reception, and promoted the sale through a printed catalogue and targeted advertisements in leading Boston publications.

The fine art collection of the late Boston gallerist Portia Harcus featured over 100 lots of 20th century prints and paintings by renowned American artists.
