ARNOLD BLANCH (American, 1896-1968) STILL LIFE


  • Notes: Blanch studied at the Minneapolis School of Art and the Art Students League. A WPA artist and member of the Woodstock Art Colony, he was married to fellow Woodstock artist Lucille Blanch until 1935, then to artist Doris Lee. A 1933 Guggenheim fellow, his work has been exhibited at the Corcoran Gallery, the Museum of Modern Art and the Whitney Museum of American Art.
