Typically, we invite you to attend auctions at our Boston gallery where you may register to bid in person and participate in the live auction experience. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, there will be no bidders in the room on sale day this auction season. We offer several alternate bidding options.

Bid Live Online
You may bid live online during the auction through our website or our mobile app, and you can watch a live-stream of the auction on our website. You must register for the auction with your online account in advance of the sale.

Absentee Bidding
You may place absentee bids through our website or by contacting the gallery directly. On the day of the auction, the auctioneer will execute your bid up to your

Telephone Bidding
You may register for a telephone bid on our website or by contacting the gallery directly. You will receive an email confirmation of your telephone bid. On the day of the auction, you will receive a call from one of our bidding agents several minutes prior to the sale of your lot. The agent will bid on your behalf per your instruction live during the auction.

After you are a successful bidder, we are here to assist you with every stage of the post-sale process.

Invoice
If you are a successful bidder, you will receive your invoice via email within one to two hours of the close of the auction.

Payment Methods
Payment may be made via cash, check, or wire transfer. We ask that all payments be made within five business days of the auction.

Pick Up
We ask that all items be picked up within ten business days of the auction. We are open for pick up Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm. Your payment must be received prior to pick up, and we ask that you make an appointment to pick up your items.
Shipping
Grogan & Company partners with a handful of local and trusted shippers. Once you’ve let us know which company you have selected, we handle the details of releasing your purchases to that designed shipper. We recommend the following shippers, though if you have a preferred shipper who does not appear on this list, we are happy to work with them. We encourage clients to seek quotes from multiple shippers as prices do vary.
