SIR ANTHONY VAN DYCK (Flemish 1599-1641)
- Condition: The original plate was engraved ca. 1645, not sure of the date of this print, possibly later restrike; Strong impression in good condition. Laid finish paper - no watermark. Not laid down - hinged at top. There are tears along the edges and creases, l.l. in the margin - but not near the image area. The sheet size is 14 1/4 x 9 5/8 inches; there is a 1/8" dimple with small hole in the margin, t.l.. Framed - needs acid free mat. No mat burn.
