  • Notes: The Auction Price Guide discussed the various comparable examples; the best type was sold at CNY 22 January 1991 #60, from the Meyer-Muller collection.
    This rug narrowly missed being included in James Burns's Antique Rugs of Kurdistan: A Historical Legacy of Woven Art since he was the underbidder when we acquired this piece at auction.
