Other Notes: Andre Antonine Lardin, (1724-1790) became 'maitre a Paris' in 1750 and opened a workshop at rue de Charenton where he lived until 1770. He then moved to rue Saint Nicolas. Lardin produced an impressive amount of high quality furniture in Louis XIV, Regence and Louis XV style. He typically signed his furniture in capital letters, as he did on this commode.
