This ring's stylized flora design featuring a vivid arrangement of chrysanthemums and leaves in gold highlights the extraordinary work of master chaser and goldsmith Louis Féron (1909–1998). Working in Paris, Costa Rica, and New York, Féron made a remarkable impact on twentieth-century high-style jewelry. Pierce MacGuire, formerly of Schlumberger at Tiffany & Company, once regarded Féron as an "extraordinary genius and a master of goldsmithing." Notably, Féron created his own tools, using them to carefully hammer and sculpt his impressive, artful jewelry designs.
  • Condition: overall good condition; emerald measuring approx. 7.98 x 6.63 x 4.58 mm.; diamonds bright and white.
