JONATHAN MULLIKAN, (American, 1746-1782), THE BLOODY MASSACRE, hand colored engraving on laid paper;, 10 3/4 x 8 3/4 inches

  • Condition: Red and Blue gouache coloring used. The print is missing it's upper right and left corners; the papers is darkened and fragile, with small tears along the edges; There is a 5 inch restored tear, l.r.; 3" old tear/ restoration at top center, and a 4" scratch, l.l.; Iron spots along top and sides. It appears that it has been mounted on some type of old mat board; the frame and glass appear to be original, but the back does not. Glass also appears to be old enough to be original to the frame.
