Sorolla y Bastida" and dated "1909," u.r.; oil on canvas; 40 x 25 1/2 inches "Note:" Sorolla painted this portrait, and another of Gertrude Norton's husband, in Buffalo, New York during his 1909 exhibition that traveled from New York to Buffalo and Boston. This painting will be included in Francisco Pons-Sorolla y Arnau's forthcoming "catalogue raisonne" of the artist's work.
