FLORENCE BALLIN CRAMER (American, 1884-1962)

  • Notes: In 1920, Florence became a pioneer in the art world when she opened the Florence Gallery in New York, dedicated to showing works by living American artists only, including Yasuo Kuniyoshi, Paul Burlin and Elie Nadleman. The gallery did not last long because of her desire to spend more time with her family in Woodstock, New York.
  • Condition: The artist removed 2 figures and reworked sky and snow; surface dirt; otherwise good
