EXTENSIVE CHINESE EXPORT PORCELAIN DINNER SERVICE, late 18th century;


  • Condition: meat platter and liner: small rim chip on platter and roughness to edges;
    circular tureens: one lid with small flake to underside of lid edge and two have small chips to snout of boar handles;
    round platter: 1/2 inch rim chip to top edge;
    oval tureen: significant gilt wear to finial;
    scalloped edge bowl: 1 1/2 inch repair to top edge;
    small covered jar: good;
    rectangular platters: all good, except one has a small rim chip and most have edge roughness and gilt loss;
    9 inch plates: one with staple repaired crack and 3 with minor rim chips;
    6 inch bowls: all good with only minor edge roughness;
    9 inch bowls: 5 have very minor rim chips and some have edge roughness;
    9 inch plates: one has 3/4 inch rim chip, one has repaired rim chip and one has heavy edge roughness, all others good except for some minor edge roughness;
    10 inch bowls: all good except for minor edge roughness

The shipper should contact us to make an appointment to pick up the items and purchasers should also call the gallery to authorize release of the items to the shipper.
