ENOCH WOOD BUST OF GEORGE WASHINGTON, England, 1818
raised medallion, verso, inscribed "Washington - Born 1732, Died - 1799 Enoch Wood, Sculp. 1818", with a relief below with cupid holding a starred ribbon and riding the back of an eagle, impressed "298" on the base, height: 8 1/2 in.
Provenance: The Estate of a Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts Gentleman.

Condition: There is a small chip to rear/top of black base; a small chip to inside rim of left lapel on blue coaat; small chip to hair and two tiny flea bite areas where glaze is missing; some "repaired" chips to edge and back of right shoulder on jacket - it appears to be scratches that were painted with light blue paint.
