  • Notes: Antonio Jacobsen's ship portrait depicts the steamship 'Santiago,' built in 1881 for the New York & Cuba Mail Steamship Co., commonly known as the Ward Line, which linked New York City with Nassau, Havana, and Mexican Gulf ports.
  • Condition: Wax lined; with scattered restoration throughout, primarily in sky.
