Other Notes: At the 1878 Paris Exposition, Tiffany displayed a group of jewelry designed as reproductions of the ancient jewelry collection discovered in Cyprus in 1865, which was exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Tiffany won a gold medal at the Exposition for their jewelry designs, particularly for its Cypriot replicas.
