  • Notes: With lengthy indistinct description on stretcher; with corresponding plaque recto inscribed The United States Ship of War The Franklin of 80 Guns with brig of war and Genoese pinque preparing to make sail after a storm near Porto Venere at the entrance of the Gulf of Spezzia, Mediterranean. G. Webster: 1819.
  • Condition: Wax lined. Scattered restoration throughout.
